Au Weather: Simple and Concise Australian Weather App
Au Weather is a free, ad-supported weather app developed by Tomfusion, an Australian-owned and operated company. This app provides users with simple and concise weather information for Australian BOM weather stations only. It offers BOM observations and forecasts and various widgets, including 2x1 customizable, 4x1 with 3-day forecast, pressure, wind, and UV, 4x2 with 3-day forecast, and 4x2 clock widgets. Users can choose the nearest weather station or pick a specific one from over 750 BOM weather stations. The app also includes a UV index and warnings (where available) and a radar loop for the current station. Users can share weather information via email or SMS and view temperature/pressure graphs for the last 24 hours (where available). Weather warnings are also available.
It is worth noting that custom ROMs are not supported, but mostly work. Ad blockers will result in an annoying message, and the app is not for users in the European Economic Area. Also, the app does not support Personal Weather Stations from Weather Underground, but it is currently in beta testing. Users can expect a free in-app ad removal option in the future.
